The lesson will advance the student’s knowledge and understanding about application of mathematics (multiplication, division and fraction) in daily life

          Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson, student will be able to understand the purpose and importance of multiplication, division and fraction in life

      Learning Activities
1.      The teacher condition the students to be ready to learn 
2.      The teacher provide motivation to the students to engage in learning activities 
3.      Warm up the students with pretest 
4.      The teacher dividing students into groups consisting of 2 students sitting close together (pairs) 
5.      The teacher do apperception to remind students about the material application 
6.      Teachers provide questions or problems related to aplication (word problem : multiplication and division) 
7.      The teacher asks the students to pair up and discuss the answer to the problem is given 
8.      The teacher concludes the solution of the problem is given  
9.      Wrap up the student with a post test 
10.  Review session 
11.  Provide an explaination importance of mathematics (multiplication, division and fraction) in daily life

SEA TEACHER

The SEA Teacher Project or the “Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia” is a project that aims to provide opportunity for pre-service student teachers from universities in Southeast Asia to have teaching experiences (practicum) in schools in other countries in Southeast Asia. Based on the SEAMEO seven priority areas for the eleven SEAMEO Member countries to work together to improve the quality of education in Southeast Asia, “Revitalizing Teacher Education” is one of the priority areas in building and strengthening capacity of teachers in the region. The exchange is preferably for 4th year students whose major are in math, science, English and pre-school. The duration is for one month and based on the mechanism of cost sharing basis. Students’ roles and responsibilities are assigned weekly during the one month period (observe, assist in teaching, teach and reflect). There is some objectivies of this practicum, to enable pre-service student teachers to develop their teaching skills and pendagogy, to encourage the pre-service student teachers to practices their English skills, to allow the pre-service student teachers to gain a broader regional and world view, and to expose future teachers to diverse teaching and learning situation and opportunities, and the value of flexibility. In this program, I implemented it according to the procedures that have been made by SEAMEO. teach in the class and evaluation. In the first week I observed several classes that I would teach later. Then, the second week I made a lesson plan for learning that I will do. Third and fourth week, I teach in the class and evaluation. After taking this program, I got a lot of benefits and experiences.
